BAMS was founded by the husband and wife team of John and Betsey Ennis in 1998.

Team Ennis were responsible for 95% of the creative and production during the first 10 years of BAMS existance. But in recent years John and Betsey learned that delegating was in order if the business is to grow. Growth in size is not a goal as BAMS will always be a smaller creative shop. But growing by adding new, complimentary skill sets to the team, such as in video production and app development has allowed BAMS to offer a more complete approach to providing a great return on (marketing) investment (ROI).
